All I want is a movie that covers the time between Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok when Loki posed as Odin and not one Asguardian was at least slightly suspicious.

I mean people were just cool with the fact that Odin all of a sudden just really enjoyed a theater production about the one son (loki) that he never really cared about.

To be fair, the entire kingdom thought Loki had been killed helping Thor and Jane. It’s not uncommon for grief to lead to sudden affection and for Asgardians, they had lost a prince basically to martyrdom and were willing to love and learn about said deceased prince. Loki used his role as Odin not only to bring affection and acceptance from the people of Asgard that he never really got from Odin himself. He was also able to dismiss any suspicions by stating that the grief of losing his son caused him to show affection he hadn’t particularly shown before, which was believable. It’s one scene where Marvel shows that Loki is much smarter than people believe him to be, using the emotional roller coaster that is grief to cover that he isn’t really Odin.
