Steve frowned softly. “Why wouldn’t we?” he asked, walking over to Bucky and standing behind him, hands on the other’s shoulders. “What are you looking for, honey?”
Bucky shook his head. “I’m not really looking for anything. Sometimes things I read trigger memories.” He replied, flattening the paper on the table to reveal the engagement announcements. “Something just got me thinkin’.”
Steve saw the engagement announcements in the paper and raised a brow, moving to sit beside Bucky slowly. “Do you remember our anniversary?” he asked quietly. “What are you thinking about?”
Bucky nodded. “I mean…would it still stand even though we lost each other?” He asked, brushing his fingers over the paper. “Shuri said that us…that we don’t have to hide anymore?” He licked his lips, blue eyes hopeful. “Could…could we finally do that?”
