Stiles kept hold of Chris and rested his head on the other’s shoulder. “Me too,” he answered quietly. “Chris… maybe we should just go… leave… get out of Beacon Hills. Everyone else is gone. Why are we staying?” He pulled back. “Scott doesn’t even want us here anymore… fine… let me handle it all. We don’t owe anyone else anything. Not now… Peter’s gone… Derek’s gone… they’re all… gone… we could go somewhere, start over… you and me…”
Chris listened frowning a little. Scott had just…not been who he had thought – had turned into someone not even his daughter would have loved. IT hurt to think about, but as much as Chris had tried to be a supporter of the pack, when Scott had refused to be reasonable, Chris had given his loyalties to Peter and Stiles. Now though…Stiles was right. “With nothing left, we could go anywhere you want.” he agreed. “Is there anywhere in particular you had in mind?”
