not your average amnesia plots ✰ * º ✰ * º ✰

  • muse a and muse b have been counting down the days until their wedding, everything is all ready for the best day, the always and forever. but on their way from the salon/house/wherever to the car, muse a is hit by a car. they dont wake for a few days, and when they come to, they’re met face to face with their almost-spouse, that they dont remember. in fact, their whole life with their significant other was entirely forgotten, only remembering the life before, which leaves muse b lost and confused. muse b was ready to tie the knot, settle down, and now beyond muse a’s physical injuries they dont remember them at all. of course muse a gives them a shot, but whether or not they have to start over or muse a remembers everything is up to you
  • it was a freak accident where an intersection didnt have markings so neither party is guilty ( or even better muse b is very guilty), yet muse a is left paralyzed and not remembering a thing and comes to to muse b (the other driver) sitting at their bed side. the pure muse a, who cant even remember who they are, asks if muse b is their lover. muse b panics and says yes, not knowing how to say that they were really the ones at fault. muse a could have a slew of mental and physical injuries, which of course muse b blames themselves for, and keeps showing up to keep the smile on muse a’s face as well as help them with recovery. desperate for to know who they are, muse a asks about themselves. they ask for stories and dreams and the whole 9 yars, but muse b doesnt know a thing, so they make it up, and it takes a long time before muse a’s memory comes back, and of course, the last thing they remember is muse b’s face before they were hurt. but both muses are falling in love and now with the truth on the table, their fate could end either way
  • muse a is in an accident which leaves them without memory, and muse b had been on their way to break things off with their beloved muse a. when they arrive at the hospital the only thing muse a remembers is how in love they were with muse b, and muse b is forced to keep coming back to positive. muse b is trying to move on, trying to find a way to tell muse b that they want to leave them, but find themselves falling back in love with muse a. muse a of course, eventually get their memories back, even the ones up until the last moments before the accident where they remember the fights and tension and out of the silence ask ‘youre leaving me arent you?’ but by this time muse b is entirely in love with muse a again, and muse a just feels hurt and decieved
  • muse a and muse b are roommates in the emergency room after a car accident muse a has extensive injuries from both the loss of memory, and the inability to walk (your choice how) and muse b is also brought in from a car accident, but just with mild injuries. muse a is laying in bed, panicking because they dont know who they are or whats happened and muse b feels bad and wants to help. muse b is released the same day, and muse a is left alone all night and afraid. the next day all muse b can think about is how cute muse a was, and how they must still be alone and scared, so they go back. and they go back everyday, and they help muse a learn to walk again, and they support them as they get better. it isnt until muse a is finally released, and entirely in love with  muse b, when they see muse b’s car, and remember it from the accident. a multi car accident that left muse b unscathed and muse a forever changed. but can muse a get over the fact that muse b had been in the same accident and was fine while they knew they’d never be the same, even with memories? or can their new love for muse b help them look past it
  • muse a and muse b have been together for years. they’re what everyone calls an old married couple, but have never actually gotten married. muse a decided it was time to change things, to finally tie the knot. on a date in their favorite restaurant, muse a gets down on knee, at the same time a drunk driver crashes through the front, taking muse b out almost entirely. with no memory, and compression fractures to their spine, muse b doesnt remember a thing, except that muse a feels familiar. muse a however is entirely heartbroken and feels all the years not married had been wasted. they dont leave though, of course, not able to bear the idea of living without muse b. muse b can feel something keeping them distant, and though they cant remember anything but loving muse a they wished they knew, though they blame how needy their recovery is, makign them feel even more like a burden. as muse b gets better, they move back home, but still without a memory its a hard adjustment. one day, while searching for a trace of themselves muse b finds it, the engagement ring, and just like that, everything comes flooding back to them. they stumble out to muse a, with the ring, and whisper out a soft ‘yes’ leaving muse a confused, before turning to see a smiling (and probably crying) muse b with the engagement ring
  • muse a and muse b are leaving a party, both a little bit drunk. well, muse b being fully drunk, and muse a slightly tipsy. halfway through the drive home, muse a realizes how bad it is for either of them to be driving, and reaches to stop them. muse b swears up and down theyre sober, but muse a finds themsevles sobering up quickly as muse b drives erratically, begging them to pull over. muse b crashes the car, throwing muse a from the car, and themsevles falling out of the drivers seat. given their situations, the paramedics think muse a was the driver, but that they were too intoxicated to drive. once muse a wakes up in the ER, they have no memory of the party at all, but when muse b  wakes up, they remember it all. the fighting, their lover being thrown from the car, and more so that its their fault. but claim they dont remember, to save themselves, no matter how selfish. muse a is torn up over thinking they not only hurt themselves, and muse b, but they cant beleive they put everyone else in danger. they fall into a depression both over their amnesia, and the guilt of their actions and find it hard to interact with muse b, because as much as they dont remember they can tell they loved muse b, and they had almost killed them. it kills muse b to see muse a tear themselves apart, especially considering they know the truth. over time, muse b helps muse a move past the guilt, and they continue to fall deeper in love, even with the secret hanging over them. its not until muse b drives muse a past the accident spot, that they remember it all. the party, the drinking, the fight, the accident, their whole life. they scream and demand they stop the car, getting out and getting sick. they wonder whether or not to tell muse b, but by now muse b knows what muse a has figured out, and apologizes to muse a over letting them think it was their fault. but now, its up to muse a whether or not they can forgive muse b for not only being so stupid and driving, but for purposely withholding the information and letting them feel so awful, can they even trust muse b at all?
