“I just can’t believe that this is how they dump me. I thought I was more important than that to them.” Kayla admitted with a frown as she curled up on her bed, arms wrapping around herself. The two had been together since their Sophomore year of high school and they just dumped her out of the blue – over text none the less. Granted, it had been two weeks since the break up but she still couldn’t figure out why.
Matt looked up at his dorm mate as she spoke, his textbook momentarily forgotten. “Kay, sweet thing,” he started. “Let him be an idiot. If he can’t see what a dumb move it was to dump you, then let him suffer when karma comes ta bite him in the ass.” He told her, moving to set his book aside and walking over to try and pull her out of bed. “Come on, let’s make some dinner and we can worry about studying later.”
