#Project Positivity: It’s The Little Things 2018

With the end of the year in sight, people around the world will start to look back over the last 12 months. Most of us will focus on the negative, from the shit show that is world politics all the way down to the resolutions we broke within the first week of the year. But, as part of #project positivity, I want to celebrate the successes – big or small – and focus on all the tiny victories that keep us going.

Like last year, I am asking for submissions from my lovely followers so that I fill Dec 31st with posts that send 2018 out with a positive shine. Tell me anything and everything that has made you smile this year. You successes. Your most amazing memories. The friends you’ve made. TV shows or films you’ve loved. Incredible holidays. Fics you’ve read. The random cat you crossed the street to pet (looking at you @lookingforodysseus). If it made you smile, I want to hear about it.

So, send me a message (ask, submission or dm, anon or not) and tell me what made your year. Please, share this around and help me make this a great day of positivity to end the year on. I can’t wait to hear from you 😀

I will be tagging all of the posts with #little things 2018 if you don’t want to see them.

Tagging some wonderful people and mutuals beneath the cut to spread the word 🙂

STOP FORCING YOURSELF TO WRITE IF YOU DON’T WANT TO / DON’T HAVE THE MUSE / ETC.

this is for fun and you should write because you want to.

if you’re going into your drafts and dreading it, that makes this for work and this is just a hobby.

i know it can be really awful trying to keep up with everything to maintain relevance but the writing partners who matter won’t care how long you take.

the writing partners who matter just want to write with you and create something beautiful.

stop forcing yourself to write and allow yourself to have fun writing again.

If Seth hadn’t been as focused on not freaking out as he had been, Seth would have berated him for treating him like he’d break easily. Though to be fair, Seth had for a bit. “I’d be better if my boyfriend stopped treating me like a ragdoll and started fucking me.” He growled out, lips pressing against the other’s cheek. “I promised I’d stop you if it was too much.”

Derek couldn’t help the soft laugh, tilting his head to kiss Seth fully. “I just don’t want to hurt you.” He countered lovingly, adjusting so he could put on a condom and ease into his lover. “You are everything to me, Seth.” He breathed, moving so he could kiss and nibble a mark into pale flesh.

Derek nodded slowly. “I figured France would be safest for you both,” he answered quietly. “I need to make a few checks on other people but… I may join you by the holidays if you’d be willing to let me come and do so.”

“Of course we would!” Stiles said, reaching for Chris’ hand, holding it in his own. Derek nodded and smiled sadly.

“I was cleaning things out in here and I found a couple of things I wanted you two to have, to take with you.” He walked over to a table to retrieve what looked like an old, wooden box, which he handed to Chris. “I looked through it only briefly, just to know who it needed to go to… I didn’t know you and Peter had known each other back when you were younger. These are apparently letters… and a few other things frmo that time.” When Chris took the box, Derek moved ot hand a book to Stiles.

“Peter was finding out more and more about your magic, your gifts. Deaton was helping him. They put together a book for you to help you continue growing in your ability to use and control your magic.”

Chris had no problem with Derek joining them in France. He was the last Argent as Derek was the last male to the Hale family and Stiles was the last in his family as well. “The manor has plenty of room. I don’t intend to be hunting once we leave.” he assured, blue eyes widening a fraction when he saw the box, worn in a few places from age. He released Stiles hand to take it, opening it to look at a few of the yellowed letters and pictures Peter had kept hidden for years. “We did. Things got very complicated.” He didn’t want to go into detail, forcing himself to remain calm even as he wanted to cry. He watched as Derek explained the book, walking over to lay a hand on Stiles’ shoulder and leaning to kiss Stiles’ head.

“Thank you, Derek. It means more than I can say.”
