“Yes that is my name,” she smiled softly at him tgen watched him unwrap his hands, “Why do you not sleep often if you dont mind my asking Steve?” His question was a fsir one, “Dreams of my soon to be former husband.”
Steve shrugged. “I was comatose for almost seventy years, kind of hard to sleep after all that time.” Nightmares didn’t help, but Steve didn’t talk about that. Hearing her comment, he arched a brow, watching her. “I assume you mean Loki?”
Steve stepped into their bedroom and walked over, taking the outstretched hand in his own and letting Thor pull him closer. He tugged off his shirt and crawled into bed beside his lover, nuzzling against the king’s neck and shoulder as he did so. “No more nightmares,” he whispered softly. “You will always have me, Thor. I love you.”
The solid warmth of his soulmate, the feel of Steve so close to him had Thor relaxing. He leaned to kiss Steve softly. “I love you, too, Steven. Forever.” he promised, closing his eyes and rolling so that he was able to hold Steve against him completely. “Sleep, my love. Tomorrow I must talk with the others, work on finding you a ring.”
Seth nodded, a small smile on his lips. “Always,” He whispered, pulling away from the kiss. “I love you, I trust you. And that’s… you know, that’s a hard thing for me to do, but if I could only ever trust one person, it’d be you.”
Derek wanted to kiss away all the bad that had ever touched his boyfriend. He eased the shirt off his body, hands running beneath Seth’s to run over his abdomen and up to take it off and toss it aside. “Is there a…particular way you want me?” he asked softly, kissing along Seth’s collarbone.
Steve nodded slowly. “I just didn’t know if you were okay with hotel jumping like I’ve been doing or if you were going to want to find an apartment or something where we can just… live quietly in hopes that no one bothers us.”
Bucky gave a soft smile, adjusting to look at Steve and reaching to run a hand through Steve’s hair. “The only difference between hotel jumping and always moving around in war is there isn’t a battle to fight anymore. All we need is each other, Steve. We can make anywhere home because of that.” he answered, leaning to kiss him. “You and me, Stevie, till the end of the line.”
“I know the feeling,” she sighed, running a hand through her hair. She leaned her head on his shoulder. “Yeah. I wish I knew how to make them stop.”
Jace wrapped an arm around her and kissed her head. “It’s going to take time, but eventually they won’t be as numerous.” he answered honestly. “We just have to do our best to get through until they don’t happen as often.” His voice was quiet, resigned, having gone through this as a child, too, though for different reasons.”
Loki seemed to be taken back by the words, arching a brow. “You’re serious, aren’t you?” he asked after a moment. “Despite the warnings of probably everyone here, you want me.”
STeve leaned more into Clint as the movie ended and sighed softly. “No more dinos,” he answered. “That was a good movie, though.” He shivered slightly and then curled up against Clint a bit more. He nuzzled against the alpha’s neck and shoulder, eyes closed as he breathed in the comforting scent. “Pick something you like. I don’t care what it is so long as I can stay right here with you.”
Clint adjusted so he could hold Steve and still eat, kissing his mate’s forehead. “How about Avatar?” he asked, nuzzling Steve before taking another bite and picking up the remote to go to the right app on the tv. He hadn’t gone to a smart tv until after he and Steve had mated, it made it easier to change movies and such with the apps and such the tv had versus disturbing Steve. He scrolled through the movies they had bought – most of them Clint had purchased – clicking on the movie and setting the remote down so he could relax. “I’m not going anywhere, Steve. You’re my mate, and I love you.”
Tristan was more than happy to tilt his head back, allowing Peter better access to the sensitive skin of his neck, teeth digging into his lower lip as he held back a moan. “Fuck, yes. I want to be only yours.” His body shivered, arching up towards Peter, encouraging him silently. His hands began to unfasten the buttons on the man’s shirt, craving skin-to-skin contact with him. “I’ll do anything it takes, I promise.” His voice was low and husky, barely more than a growl. His hips bucked against Peter’s hand. “I want everyone to know I’m yours. I want you to ruin me. I want you to own me.” For a moment, he sat up – just long enough to wriggle out of the ridiculously tight jeans he’d worn that night, with nothing underneath, of course – before returning to his position underneath Peter, one arm around his neck. “I want you to make sure I never want anyone else again. Please.” The marks he had intended to leave on the older man were coming along nicely, false nails leaving impressive grooves in the skin that he was sure he could make bleed after a few more attempts.
Peter gave an approving hum as Tristan bared his neck more, biting a little harder, but not enough to draw blood as he let his shirt unbutton. Once it was unfastened, he pulled away long enough to pull the shirt off and toss it to the side. The words made a possessive growl pass his lips, leaning to kiss Tristan hard. “Only mine?” he replied. “I only want you, too, Tris, and choosing me can be risky. Are you sure you’re ready for that level of commitment?” he asked huskily, wanting complete honesty and loyalty between them. He laughed softly, the tone husky and quiet, hands roaming Tristan’s now nude body. “Fuck, you look so much better than I thought you would.” He leaned to trail kisses down from the other’s neck, away from the dark bruise so suckle at Tristan’s chest, nipping at the other’s body as he moved. “Gonna mark you all up, nice and pretty for me.” He gave a pleased growl as Tristan’s nails dug into his skin, eyes flaring red. “Feels good, do that again.” he urged with a mix between a growl and a purr, one hand moving to brush his fingers along Tristan’s length. “You’ll feel me for days when I’m done taking care of you.”
