Magnus’ Verses

Main [ quite magical cat eyes;; main Magnus ]

Magnus has lived for centuries, a warlock with power unimaginable to most and sought by some. The chosen son of one of the Princes of Hell, Magnus uses his magic to help people as much as to make life easier on himself. There has to be good in this magic that was sparked by his father’s darkness after all, right?

Human [ surrendered magic;; human Magnus ]

Typically this is played as Magnus was born a human and lives in an apartment with his two cats, and makes a decent living at his job (varies on thread) and he’s a gentleman to all those who catch his eye. However, following show canon, there is a version of this verse that has him giving up his magic.

Singer/Songwriter [ write me a song;; singer Magnus ]

Bane Records was started by Asmodeus Bane, and after the death of his wife, the owner locked away his son, Magnus from the world. Magnus has talent as a songwriter for many number one hits since his mother’s death, and he’s even sung the demos that get sent to artists, and everyone is curious why he hasn’t breached the circle of his life onto the stage. Being hidden and mistreated by his father has left the young man a little lost for the strength to be forceful, but those at the company have brought forward a campaign to make Magnus a performer.

Stripper [ beneath the lights;; stripper Magnus ]

Magnus left home to get away from the abuse of his mother and stepfather, making a living with dance. He was hired by a prominent night club and is one of the best dancers in the establishment, but he’s more than the stigma of his profession.

So… my car has a hole in the frame that needs wielding, it also needs all four tires, the back breaks and the front breaks also need done. Plus it needs inspected. I currently just started a part time job, but since I can’t use my car until it’s fixed up, I’ve been relying on my grandparents. 

Apparently that is becoming a problem to my nana. Because even though I’m here everyday I’m not at work taking care of her, running her any place she wants, etc.. I apparently don’t do anything for them but expect them to do things for me – like taking me to work. 

When my nana got me the car, she said she’d pay to get it fixed up. Then when she got the money from her moms estate she was all, “Well I never said that, your papa did.” Except he didn’t. She had said, “When I get the money from my moms estate I’ll pay to have that fixed so you can get a job, and then I’ll pay for all of us to go on vacation.” 

anyway, to fix the $300 car, it’s going to cost over $1,000. (mainly because of the wielding). 

I really need this fixed so I can just not have to rely on anyone anymore since it seems to be such a problem.

Keep My Heart | bowstrung

Alec felt his cheeks warm as Magnus teased him. “Not that early,” he mumbled as he stepped inside. The loft was as extravagant as the warlock himself, though he had expected no less of him. He gave him a toothy grin and said, “In that case, I’ll make sure I’m always a little early. I never liked being late to things anyway.” If he wasn’t blushing before, he certainly was now. There was that touch and those compliments and he wasn’t sure if his heart should be beating this fast. “Thank you. Um…you do to. Look…pretty, I mean.” Pretty? Angels, he needed to shut his mouth before he embarrassed himself further. Nodding, Alec offered out an arm to him. “Is where we’re going nearby? Can we walk or should we get a taxi?” He didn’t even think to ask for a portal, because he didn’t want to appear eager for it. That and he felt it was a bit rude to ask too. “Am I allowed to know where we’re going?”

Magnus couldn’t help but smile at the slightly taller man. He slid his arm to link with Alec’s and nodded. “Thank you.” he replied, nodding as they headed out and down the stairs. “We can walk from here. And it’s a nice night.” he replied, looking around. “I like being able to walk the city at night. IT’s a good way to unwind, you know.” he offered, looking up at Alec briefly. “We’re going to a little French cafe I know. I hope that’s okay?” he asked.

Tfw you feel abandoned, discarded, avoided… and it makes you feel worthless and useless. Like all that matters is that you show up and keep things moving. I can’t do that today. I just want to walk off a cliff and keep walking. I want to crawl into the darkness of my closet and not come out. For now, I’m going back to bed. I just can’t make myself stay up or do anything. I’m anxious and panicked about tomorrow and how the results could possibly affect my life.

Get some sleep and take care of yourself, honey. I’m gonna be around all day if you want to chat or anything later. ❤

Terra’s Verses

Main [ alpha in a fox;; main Terra ]

Friend to the Hale pack, god daughter to Peter and Talia’s mother, Terra was taken in after hunters killed her family. Terra died protecting her family from a raid years before the Hale house fire, but she’s managed to use her magic as a fox to help bring her back, and while sure she looks a little older than the day she died, but she’s very much as old as her old friend Peter.

Human [ more beyond this town;; human Terra ]

All Terra ever wanted was to get out of Beacon and see the world. As a human in a pack of wolves, she bailed as soon as she had a chance, and she never really looked back except to contact the Hales to let them know she was okay.

Huntress [ code of my own;; hunter Terra ]

After Terra’s family was killed, the little hybrid became a hunter of her own, helping protect packs and clans she came across. She fights to keep the innocent supernaturals safe and she has no problem taking the evil ones down.

Elemental [ magical storm;; elemental Terra ]

Terra may have been born from a hybrid, but it didn’t take long for it to come forward that she was a little bit more. Terra can manipulate a mix of air and water and the corresponding temperature. She’s still learning how to control it after all this time, but she’s getting better.
