Is that my shirt?” [from Alizair]

sttormsofnight:

Seth blushed, arms coming to wrap around his chest as if hiding the fact that he had Alizair’s shirt on. “Maybe.” He shrugged.

The wolf rolled his eyes, smiling as he moved to lean over and kiss Seth’s cheek. “How are you feeling?” He asked, eyes watching the omega, one hand brushing over the bond mark on Seth’s neck. They were mated now, but it was a deeper bond than normal and Alizair knew he needed to explain that soon.

“Because I’m fairly certain you thought I was always joking.” Seth replied, frowning. “I wasn’t, by the way. Oh.” Seth blinked, “I guess that actually depends if you’re agreeing to go on a date with me or not.”

The dragon arched a brow. “I’ll be honest, the first dozen times, I did.” Kyo replied. “But then your sister told me you were trying to bounce off ideas with her on how to better ask me, and I realized you were serious.” He moved to sit up more, leaning closer. “Are we winging this date, then?”

Thor had been looking for Loki for an hour or more, wanting to take the other to bed. “Loki, my love?” he asked, looking around as he searched.

Loki looked up from his book when Thor entered his study, and purred softly. “Thor, my king, are you ready for bed?” He asked, green eyes mischievous as a black tail flicked around him. Soft black ears poked out from under his hair. @themusechronicles

Thor smiled as he found the other, leaning over to kiss him. “I am. Would you like to join me?” He always asked, always adoring. He reached to pet hie fingers through dark hair, petting dark ears with a smile.

Steve nodded slowly, pulling the jacket around him a bit tightly. He got a whiff of the alpha’s scent on it and that was really all it took. He bit back the soft whimper that tried to escape. Peter smelled.. warm… like cinnamon and honey on a cold day. He pressed his nose to the collar of the jacket and then caught Peter looking at him and quickly stopped, dropping his head down a bit, but refusing to give up the warm coat.

Peter was worried his scent would set the omega off, but he wanted Steve comfortable. Hearing the barely there little whimper made his lips twitch upwards. Steve was beautiful but he was very guarded, and Peter knew that if he wanted to get close enough to make Steve happy, he would have to go slow. “I don’t mind, Steve. I just don’t want you uncomfortable.” he explained.

“Hey Stevie.” Bucky looked up from their bed and tsked sympathetically when Steve came through the door. “Rough day?”

“Does it look like a rough day?” Steve griped, dropping his stained shield onto the ground and stepping out of his nearly shredded boots with a grimace. “Be glad you had to sit this one out.”

He regretted the flippant comment instantly, when Bucky’s pale eyes flickered in hurt and resignation, the plates on his left arm shifting and clicking as he clenched his fist.

“I didn’t mean it like that.” Steve said with a sigh. “I wasn’t trying to make fun, babe. When we agreed to keep you out of things that might potentially trigger the Soldier–”

“It’s fine.” Bucky waved him off, shaking his head jerkily. “S’fine, Stevie. Better to leave me at home than to risk setting me off in public, yeah? I know. It’s fine.”

It wasn’t fine, and Steve felt awful for trying to make light of it. All this time Bucky had been part of the team and he still sat on the sidelines more often than not, posted up in the bedroom waiting for the rest of them to come home and tell him what had happened. It was a constant reminder that even though Bucky was Bucky again, there was still a part of him hidden away, one that may or may not be activated at any time, one that might or might not be suddenly violent if triggered, one that could be brought to the surface by something as simple as flashing lights.

It wasn’t fine.

“I missed you today.” Steve kept his voice soft, tried to change the subject. “Missed having you in my ear. Clint is my point man when you aren’t there and the guy keeps up a running commentary on literally anything he sees just to fill the silence. At one point he asked Natasha if she wanted some bag an old lady was carrying and she said no, she wanted the actual Prada bag and he started wailing about how he gets paid archer money not super spy money so he couldn’t afford it.”

Bucky’s lips twitched towards a smile and encouraged, Steve added– “I tried turning the mic’s down but I must have turned them down on his end too because he just turned his hearing aids up and started shouting his stories so I gave up.”

Angelic. That was a new one. And it had made him blush too. Angelic, really? He wondered what his sister would say about that one. She’d probably tell him to make a move. And then she’d say that if he didn’t, then she would. It wouldn’t be the first time Izzy ended up getting someone that he’d been interested in. Boys tended to like her better. Not that he was jealous really, but he did wish that he could be looked at first. “Of course it is,” Alec replied with a smile. He cleaned off Jace’s area for him and handed the things to the bartender that he knew that took the next shift.

“Come on then, up you get.” He tried to help Jace up and said, “If you need to lean into me, you can. My car isn’t far from here.” With that, he started leading the way, going slowly as he went. People moved out of their way once they noticed the drunken Jace. Fortunately it really hadn’t taken long to get to his car and he opened the passenger side door and helped him in. “Where did you say you lived? I’m going to need an address. Though if you can’t remember right now, you’re welcome to crash at my place. I’ve got a guest bedroom that’s never used.” Well, unless his sister was staying over, which she wasn’t. She was too attached to her new boyfriend to stay the night at his place much lately.

Jace smiled at him, barely managing to stand. He tried to really stand, but he almost fell as he took a few steps and he reluctantly leaned into Alec. HE really wanted to know the guy before he started getting cuddly, but he supposed there wasn’t much he could do about it now. “I live on the other side of town. If your place is closer, that’s fine.” he murmured, leaning into the seat as he struggled to buckle himself in for a moment. “I’m not interrupting anything, am I?” he asked, looking over with bloodshot eyes.
