“That’s about to change.” He had said, and now Peter was staring up at him, biting at his lip an looking halfway between terrified out of his mind and sweetly eager and Wade– Wade wished he could focus on Peter and not on everything else.
He really really wished he could focus on Peter because the pretty non-shifter had never been kissed, had never been wanted and Wade was very much looking forward to showing Peter exactly how wanted he was, but first–
Wade had forgotten how it felt to be human, and re-learning to walk, to talk– that was easy enough to over come, but everything else was a little more difficult.
It was difficult to have all five of his senses warring for attention instead of being able to focus just on sight and scent. Dragons aren’t exactly picky eaters, so taste didn’t usually matter. Hearing was important as an animal, but with impeccable eyesight and such extreme sensitivity to smells, no one snuck up on him anyway. And touch– Wade couldn’t remember the last time he had touched anything besides the earth as he walked and an animal as he ate.
But now everything was different.

The man drinking at the back of the waterside bar was a man that no one messed with.
He sat slumped in the same table night after night, the same ragged Captain’s hat pulled low over his eyes, drinking a bottle of the same piss-poor ale, staring at the same spot on the same dirty wall, and never saying a word.
Almost a year now he had been coming to this bar, almost a year since he had snapped his bonds and stolen a long boat from a British prison ship, somehow getting himself to shore. No one knew what he had been imprisoned for, no one knew why the Navy had ever come looking for him, and more than that, no one knew why he was so scarred.
Some sailors said it was because his last ship, The Mercenary, had burned around him and the Captain had refused to jump away from it. Others said the scars were from his time served on the prison ship. The more superstitious sailors decided that they weren’t so much scars as it were brands from a dark spirit, the beings of the deep punishing the Captain for some horrible deed.
“Perhaps he fought a Kraken.” one whispered.
“Tangled with a selkie.” another suggested.
“Mermaids.” One old timer cut in. “He pissed of a mermaid, probably promised love and then left her. Vicious folk, those mermaids. If one curses you, only one can save you, but no mermaid will come close to a cursed man.”
The rumours swirled, the stories grew wilder and wilder, and every night the Captain drank until the bottle was empty and then stumbled his way down the pier to his little shack near the water and no one knew why.
Wade was well aware of the rumours and whispered and general layer of distrust that followed him everywhere he went, and he didn’t give a flying fornication about it.
They could talk all they wanted, as long as they left him alone. They could whisper and imagine as long as they didn’t get into his business. They could send him dirty looks and judge him for his habits as long as they didn’t mess with his ale.
Wade just wanted to drink, and sleep, and listen to the ocean.
It wasn’t as if he would ever sail again anyway.

You’re quiet tonight. The end of Wade’s tail whipped around and poked Peter in the face. You usually talk my ear off after you get back from a few daus in the village. Another poke. What are you thinking about?
“Nothing.” Peter lied, and smacked the tail away. “Quit hitting me, I don’t want your tail in my face. That is so rude, no wonder you have to stay in the woods. Not manners fit for people.”
Lies. The dragon snorted. “About what you’re thinking and about you not liking my tail. Humans are kinky, you know you’ve thought about–
“For the love of god.” Peter jabbed his elbow into Wade’s side, bouncing harmlessly off the scales. “Don’t say things like that! All the things I think about you, I can promise none of them involve your tail!”
1OO lifetimes — O4. hope
Loki woke in a panic. The room was blanketed in shadows, a blue tint from the early morning sky. It was their room, everything was in place, everything was alright. His heart hammered against his chest all the same.
A dry swallow, a deep inhale, eye closed— everything was alright.
Sometimes the nightmares faded the moment he woke; other times, they stuck around in the back of his head for days. Memories of lives he lived— they lived— resurfacing in his subconscious. Terrible reminders of the things he had done, and that they had done to each other.
He rolled over, taking the down comforter with him. Thor was sleeping soundly, never burdened with the past. The overcast from the window made him look softer. Loki settled into his pillow and reached out to lightly run his fingers along the soft skin of Thor’s chest.
The glint of his silver wedding band caught his eye, and Loki’s lips broke out into a smile, which was then hidden when he buried his face into the bulk of Thor’s arm. Regardless of the ghosts, at that moment, Loki knew only happiness.
On their wedding day, a teary-eyed Thor hand stood before him and called him his soulmate. Of course, he hadn’t understood the gravity of his chosen words— it still gave Loki hope to think that in this lifetime, Thor felt it too.
He let his fingers trail upwards, brushing over a nipple, which had Thor’s face pinching into a frown. Loki smiled, devilish. He leaned over his husband’s sleeping body to give the bud a wet kiss, blowing on it softly until it stood erect. Thor stirred beneath him, and when he opened his eyes and looked down— blinking in confusion— Loki darted his tongue out to give it a quick, devious lick.
“Good morning,” Thor said with a sleepy smile, voice groggy with sleep.
Loki hummed under his breath, leaning up on his arms and draping himself over Thor’s torso. “A very good morning,” he whispered and leaned down to press a kiss to chapped lips. Thor kissed back, despite his morning breath.
They broke apart with the blaring of an early morning alarm. Thor groaned, and Loki rolled his eyes— he would throw that stupid clock away if he could, instead he reached over and pushed it off.
“C’mon, I have to shower.”
Loki didn’t budge, only sat up enough to take Thor’s face into both of his hands. He didn’t look annoyed, but amused, smiling up at Loki like he was the sun.
“Let’s stay like this,” Loki whispered, kissing his forehead sweetly. “Please, just a little while longer.”

“Is it almost ready?”
Loki threw his head back and laughed, too dramatic to be sincere. He sat the wooden spoon to the side, the end covered in a thick, red sauce. Strong arms snaked around his waist, a cold nose nudging into the crook of his neck. He couldn’t help but lean back into the comforting weight behind him. It felt like home.
“What does it matter to you?”
Thor didn’t eat— not food, at least, as Loki knew it. His appetites were much darker, ravenous. He could already feel his pulse quicken, his heart working faster in anticipation for Thor’s true meal. Thor could feel it too, it was evident by the small growl he let out as he pressed kisses into the long line of Loki’s neck.
“Because,” Thor said lightly, punctuating himself with a tiny nip to the sensitive flesh of his throat. It had Loki arching back, a whine falling from his lips, breathless.“The sooner you eat, the sooner I can.”
Loki suddenly didn’t care much about the pasta boiling over on the stove. Thor’s meals always promised to be euphoric, no matter if he had to wear that stupid ascot for a week after.
He clicked off the gas stove and turned into the embrace. There was something otherworldly twinkling in Thor’s blue eyes—he didn’t need to glamor, Loki was his.
Loki was always his.

If Peter wouldn’t have been so damn shocked over Wade suddenly being human, he might have laughed over how wobbly legged and wide eyed and basically helpless the man was.
The first time Wade tried to stand up, his legs gave right out and he ended up sprawled on his ass, which led to the eyes-quickly-averted-discovery that Wade was very naked.
It made sense, of course, no shifter dropped back to human and was suddenly magically clothed, but still. Still a little shocking, seeing a grown man spread eagle like that, bits and danglers open to the morning sun, and Peter whipped around and covered his face with an awkward eep.
Once the legs were working– and the nethers were covered with a blanket– the vision and nose was the next to adjust, Wade squinting around the camp site as if he couldn’t see past his nose, taking in a deep breath to try and scent the air around him before remembering that humans have a fairly terrible sense of smell.
He stretched his arms, rolled his shoulders until something popped and he suddenly felt a lot looser, bent down to touch his toes– holding the blanket carefully at his waist– and after several minutes of that sort of thing, he felt some what like himself, or at least as much as himself as he remembered feeling like the last time he was human.
Peter was still turned away, and Wade coughed loudly, pointedly, before saying, “I’m decent, Pete. You don’t have to keep staring at the trees to preserve my modesty.”
Every Inch of You (SWS #53)
Based on a prompt from @pumpkin-spidey for intersex!Peter finding love with Wade after so many people rejecting him.
(Author’s note: Talks about sexual/gender identity can be very feels-heavy, but because this is Spideypool I tried for a lighter approach. I have a follow up part, a sexy times scene and depending on how everyone likes this one I might post it)
Also, this is long so I’m posting it on Saturday lol

Wade didn’t mean to snort Mountain Dew out of his nose, and holy hell did it burn and he wouldn’t be smelling or tasting anything for a week, but that wasn’t important.
What was important was that Peter’s eyes filled with tears and he started shoving away from the table, gathering his backpack and jacket and mumbling about having to go right now.
“Pete!” Wade coughed and wiped at his face as he tried to run after his boyfriend. “Pete! Wait come back! Pete!”
“Leave me alone.” Peter sniffed and kept right on walking. “I don’t know why I expected you to act like any less of an asshole than you usually do, but some how I’m still surprised.”
“Pete, please.” Wade snagged his jacket, careful not to pull too hard, because last time he’d down that Peter had turned and clocked him right into a wall. “Just wait up a minute and let me try that again. I won’t react like such a dick this time, I swear, you just sort of–” he threw his hands up. “You just sort of surprised me is all.”
1OO lifetimes — O1. canon
This time, he was his brother.
A golden, radiant boy on the cusp of manhood— arrogant and selfless, all in one. Loki knew his flaws, knew him inside and out. He had seen him be a good king, he had seen him be a bad king, and he’d seen him be no king at all.
For all that he loved him, he knew Thor wasn’t ready to be crowned.
Loki watched from a distance, tucked away along the palace wall, a goblet of sweet wine in hand. His brother leaned his head back, barked out a laugh, slapped his hand down hard on the table so that the plates rattled. Surrounded by friends, he was drunk— as he often was during the great feasts.
He wasn’t like Loki, he didn’t pace himself.
But, Loki, he’d been refining his patience for eons— he licked the bittersweet from his lips and across the room, Thor caught his eye— and he was good at it.
Spideypool Dragon!AU (Wade’s POV)
******************
The dragon didn’t know what to think of the human.
It was weird enough that the kid didn’t scent of shifter. He was just human, human enough to almost make Wade’s nostril’s burn, just pure scent untainted by the wild that would accompany a shifters human half.
It was even weirder that he was this far up the mountain alone, with enough supplies to last him days, as if he didn’t want to be in the village during the spring mating season.
Which… if he couldn’t shift, that would actually make sense. Of course he didn’t want to be there for the spring.
Wade followed the human for two days before finally revealing himself just a little, and the look of shock on the boys face made him laugh for days.
