“No.” Kayla muttered, standing up slowly. “…Yeah.” She finally let herself admit as she turned to face Heather. “You think they’d all be easy anyway. It’s just basically a swing. That you can sleep on. It shouldn’t be this difficult.”

Heather gave a little laugh at her friend. “Come on, let’s start you on the easy ones.” she offered, holding out her hand. “You’ll have these things mastered by the time vacation is over, I promise.” she assured.

“I just can’t believe that this is how they dump me. I thought I was more important than that to them.” Kayla admitted with a frown as she curled up on her bed, arms wrapping around herself. The two had been together since their Sophomore year of high school and they just dumped her out of the blue – over text none the less. Granted, it had been two weeks since the break up but she still couldn’t figure out why.

Matt looked up at his dorm mate as she spoke, his textbook momentarily forgotten. “Kay, sweet thing,” he started. “Let him be an idiot. If he can’t see what a dumb move it was to dump you, then let him suffer when karma comes ta bite him in the ass.” He told her, moving to set his book aside and walking over to try and pull her out of bed. “Come on, let’s make some dinner and we can worry about studying later.”

Kayla closed her eyes, finally able to get comfortable on the hammock. The young woman had been waiting for her best friend to get there and had decided that she’d finally master the damn thing. However, after a minute she let out a loud ‘oof’ as she fell onto the ground. She turned to glare at the hammock, her face bright red.

Heather was walking out onto the beach when she saw Kayla plop out of the hammock. “Are you still having trouble with that?” she asked with a little laugh, reaching to help her friend up. “We can always start you on the big ones first? They’re usually much easier to learn than the small ones.”

Seth

Seth nodded, a small smile on his lips. “Always,” He whispered, pulling away from the kiss. “I love you, I trust you. And that’s… you know, that’s a hard thing for me to do, but if I could only ever trust one person, it’d be you.”

Derek wanted to kiss away all the bad that had ever touched his boyfriend. He eased the shirt off his body, hands running beneath Seth’s to run over his abdomen and up to take it off and toss it aside. “Is there a…particular way you want me?” he asked softly, kissing along Seth’s collarbone.

Seth

Seth squirmed slightly at the kiss to his neck, giving a slight huff in response. “Bed.” He whispered, pressing another kiss to Derek’s lips. “Although right here isn’t seeming too bad of an option right now.”

Derek huffed a laugh, pressing another kiss to Seth’s neck before moving to pick him up and carry him with ease to his bedroom. He was quiet as he laid Seth down, leaning over to kiss him again, running a calloused hand through the other’s hair. “If you get uncomfortable, tell me?” he asked, giving a reassuring smile.
