Tristan

Tristan had worked quickly at helping to close up the bar. He loved his job and he loved his customers, but his favourite part of it all? The time he spent with just Peter after they’d closed. He’d started off staying after everyone else as a means to earn a little more money, sneak in a drink or two, but now he genuinely looked forward to it. Gradually he’d grown to see the man as a great friend, someone he could trust entirely and totally rely on, but Tristan wasn’t satisfied with just that. Instead, he wanted more. And though Peter had dropped hints that maybe he did too, neither had dared go that far. Tonight was going to be different.

Once they were finally alone, Tristan turned to Peter, laughing softly at his question. “Mhm. You know you’ll give in one day.” He took a step closer, moving his hand to rest lightly on the man’s chest. His head cocked to one side, emerald eyes almost glowing in the dim light. “There’s no time like the present. We both know you’ve been thinkin’ about it.”

The alpha gave a little smirk. “I’m sure I will.” he countered. “The question really is if you can handle being with me.” he replied, finishing wiping down the counter. “I’m sure by now you’ve noticed some of the clientele isn’t all that mundane.” he began. “Not all of the staff is either.” He leaned against the bar, watching Tristan quietly for a moment. “I have been thinking about it. Hard not to. But there are risks to wanting to be with me, Tris. Very dangerous risks.”

Tristan

“I’m dedicated to my cause.” Tristan laughed, his fingers ghosting over Peter’s chest. “I always get what I want.” With that, he returned to actually doing his job, something that he absolutely excelled at. He’d worked in bars constantly since he’d turned eighteen, and now he’d finished at university, he’d decided he wanted to stick with it as he travelled. For Tristan, the money wasn’t necessary, but it was fun.

Peter couldn’t help the laugh. It had been their game for weeks now. They flirted all night but Peter has never dared to bring the younger man up to his loft upstairs. “Maybe so, but the game is more fun when you know we both want it.” he smirked, red tinging around his eyes a little as he went back to work. People adored Tristan and regulars had made jokes and such about the way the two of them looked at each other, and Peter, for all his confidence, knew that despite his strength, he was broken. It had helped keep the other at a distance, but the long nights had led to a friendship and still the other man looked at him with desire. As the night wore on and he helped get people home in cabs and with friends, Peter began locking up and sweeping the floors, turning chairs up to sit on the tables. Once it was all settled, he moved forward to start splitting the money between everyone. “Good money tonight, everyone. Get home and rest.” he said, handing out the money and moving to help Tristan finish straightening the liquor bottles. “Still waiting to get what you want?” he teased.

Peter’s Verses

Main [ I’ve always been the alpha;; main Peter ]

Escaping from Eichen was just the first step. Protecting the town from an alpha worse than he ever could be and getting those red eyes back? That was just the second step. Now he’s working on having a pack of his own and finally having a real family.

Bar Owner [ bourbon scotch beer and more;; bar owner Peter ]

Eclipse Hall is a beautiful structure that can serve up to 700 people with ease and still have room for staff to move, pool tables to play at and lots of pretty people to look at.

Biker [ harleys and ink;; biker Peter ]

Peter’s left the life of a lawyer after his mother died, hating that he let her force him to finish law school as she died. He took his bike and travelled until he found a little place of his own; a garage with a large living space above it to call his. He fixes all kinds of cars, but he also has to just hit the road for a while and drive, always looking for the next adventure.

Human [ much more fragile;; human Peter ]

Much of Peter’s story as a human is the same as his main verse, only he’s human, a lot easier to kill and he survived every attempt on his life by sheer dumb luck.

Tristan

“Thanks, boss.” Tristan looked over at the owner of the bar with a grin, leaning against the counter as he rolled a cigarette in the first quiet minute he’d gotten that night. Luckily, his rolling skills were well refined, as he soon had to turn his attention back to his customers. “I like it when it’s busy. Makes the time go faster.” He turned to face his boss, leaning in a little closer to him. His voice was a low purr as he spoke. “Of course, so does havin’ company like you. Tell me, do you ‘ave any plans for after we close tonight?”

Peter gave a little growl, smirking. “Still trying, huh?” he teased. With a low laugh, he reached to rush his hand along Tristan’s hip. “I guess you’ll have to wait and find out then, won’t you?” he teased. “Maybe if you’re good, I’ll take you up.” He smirked as he turned to continue helping patrons, mixing drinks and washing glasses as he needed to, but always keeping an eye on where Tristan was.

Peter liked the nights of full moons. The bar was usually full of paying customers, the sounds of old rock, pool balls and cheers of shots. IT was always nice to enjoy the atmosphere, and tonight was definitely a good one thus far. As he wandered and checked on everyone, getting refills ready and sent out, he found his way back up to the bar, sliding in alongside the bartender. “How’s your first moon night going?” he asked, washing the glasses he’d gathered. “Seem to be holding your own really well.”
