Peter looked up as the door to the shop opened, having been doing the inventory when she walked in. “Lunchtime already?” he asked, moving to mark his place with his pencil and going to help her. “What exquisite cuisine are we having today, dearest?”
The demigod smirked at her as he sat on a stone bench near among the mossuleums. “Ive never been called a fool, bit I can stir up some trouble.” He mused, offering her a shot glass. “I came to pay respects.”
Alizair actually barked out a laugh, taking a drink. “Not a cat person myself, honestly.” The wolf mused. “But being in New Orleans again has been nice. Seen some change in the last few years.”
