Steve listened to Clint, checked his arm over, and nodded slowly. “Fury tends to over-worry about all of us, Clint, but you most especially because of everything that happened with Phil. He knew how much Phil meant to everyone in SHIELD and he knows how much you mean to all of us. We didn’t want to lose Phil. We sure as hell don’t want to lose you, either.” He kissed the other softly.
“Let’s go to Dom’s,” he suggested. “They have that deal with the two large pizzas and the garlic knots. It’ll be plenty of food for tonight and tomorrow.”
Clint rolled his eyes – although it was loving – as Steve checked his arm over. “I;m not going down without a much harder fight. I have a fiance who needs me.” He said, kissing back as he ran a hand through blonde hair. “I love you,” he said softly, leaning to touch his forehead to Steve’s. “I’m not going anywhere.” He waited a moment before pulling away so they could head downstairs. “Sounds good. We can pick it up on the way home and then snuggle on the couch or in bed for the rest of the night.”
