Chris looked up and smiled, reaching to pull Stiles close to him. “You miss him, too.” he added, running a hand through dark hair and leaning to rest his forehead on the younger man’s. “We just didn’t get a lot of time with him. We have to get through this together. I’m just…tired of everyone I love dying around me.”
Chris gave a pained laugh. “I’ve had worse, Sophie.” he told the girl, cocking his gun again and motioning his head behind them. “Get to the car.”

After losing his daughter, Chris gave up on hunting, and decided to start being more normal. Still a legal arms dealer, he travels more, mostly by motorcycle, basically retired from hunting unless attacked and enjoying the chance to just be a normal man for a change.

Chris could never get the feel for killing, so when he graduated high school, he left and went to college, deciding to become a model and remove himself from his family. IT’s worked well for twenty years, but it’s only a matter of time before his family name catches up to him, right?

Grief and anger from losing his daughter caused Chris to slip up on a hunt and rather than killing himself when he turned, he let go of his past and moved on, accepting his new life and moving on from his past.
