Stiles flinched at first, but his magic settled at Derek’s touch, as it always did, and so the rest of his body was able to slowly settle, too. He stepped into Derek’s space and rested his head against the other’s chest, wrapping his arms around him tightly. He nuzzled into the wolf’s neck, scenting him, and then resting his cheek on Derek’s shoulder.
“New… person at school,” he said after a few moments. “I don’t know what he is, but he’s something and it’s not comfortable being around him. He was leering at me… following me around… looking for any excuse to get like right in my personal space. Nothing about me was comfortable around him.”
Derek frowned when he saw the flinch, concern growing. Stiles never flinched from him or from Peter, so the action put him on edge. As Stiles relaxed and leaned into him, he wrapped his arms around him. “Do you want me to swing by the school and help keep an eye on them?” he asked. “Wouldn’t be hard. If they tried anything, I could stop them and you’d know I was there which would help you stay calm.”
