Steve sighed softly as Tony’s fingers slid through his hair and he leaned in to kiss him softly. “And I will never regret bonding with you either, Tony,” he answered. “You mean everything to me. I love you so very much.”

Tony smiled at the words too much trouble. He’d had to convince Bucky for over three months that he had no intention of leaving Steve. Most of that was just looking out for his mate, keeping him warm and always letting Steve curl into him no matter where he was. Tony was happy when the big brunette had said he was fine with the proposal, and now Tony was one step closer to having everything he had ever wanted [and honestly hadn’t known he did]. He kissed back and smiled as he moved to pull Steve against him. “I love you, too. More than anything.”

Steve laughed softly. “I’m guessing it did. He wasn’t all that thrilled at the way our bonding happened. He didn’t blame you or anything; he was just worried that at some point we’d both have regrets or something. I’m glad he didn’t give you too much trouble over proposing to me.”

Tony nodded. “I’m well aware. But he knows as an alpha, we just know when we find our mate.” He moved to kiss Steve gently. “I know I didn’t know how to go about courting, but I’m glad I learned how. I’m glad I didn’t totally scare you away after that one incident.” He reached up to run his hand through blonde hair. “But I swear I will never regret being bonded with you.”

Steve’s mind wasn’t as hazy now as it had been before and he curled into Tony’s warmth, burying his face into his mate’s neck, sighing softly as he did so. “I’m sorry about how everything happened,” he said quietly. “I know we were headed in this direction together at some point, but I know this is sooner than you wanted it to happen. I don’t regret anything… only that we didn’t have the chance to plan everything out like we wanted.”

Tony petted through the omega’s hair, shaking his head. “Hey, it’s okay. You didn’t do anything wrong.” he promised. “We aren’t as prepared as I’d like, but I would never change my mind about being yours.” he said softly, leaning to kiss Steve again. “All that matters is that we got you home before anything happened. I can take care of you and we’ll be fine.” he smiled at Steve, moving carefully so that he could drape an arm over Steve’s side. “I’m right here, Steve. Always yours, and now everyone will know.”

Steve looked up at him slowly. Tony had been very protective of him since their bonding. Steve licked his lips, maybe a little nervously. “What do you mean, Tony?” he asked softly.

Tony nuzzled at his mate. “I mean I’m going to take care of you. You and any pups we have.” he replied, pulling out a small box. “I want to make sure you have everything you could ever want, Steve. And I know we’re already bonded, but…” He looked nervous as he moved to kneel on one knee, holding up the box and opening it to reveal an intricately designed ring. “Will you marry me?”

Steve gasped softly at the beautiful ring inside the box and then he looked back at Tony. “You… you want to marry me,” he whispered… “Tony…. yes. Yes of course I’ll marry you. I just… never knew you wanted that from me…”

Tony watched his omega as Steve spoke, nodding in answer to the question. “Why would I not?” he asked, taking the ring out and placing it on Steve’s hand. “I love you, and I want the whole world to know that. I want you happy and taken care of in every way. Marriage is just a much more public ceremony to bonding.”

His climax hit him fast and he felt Tony’s knot lock deep inside of him, making him whimper softly as they settled with one another, the new bond sealing between them now. He shivered slightly, closing his eyes. “I love you too,” he whispered sleepily.

Tony knew they’d be knotted together for a bit, so he adjusted so they could lay on their sides. “I won’t let anyone take you from me, baby. I’ll protect you. My perfect omega, my sweet mate.” he brushed his lips against Steve’s. As much as he loved being bonded to Steve, a part of him wished that they could have talked beforehand, but since the drug the turned down alpha had given Steve had triggered an early heat, Tony didn’t know when the next one would come once the current one waned. He ran his hands through Steve’s hair, leaning to lick at the healing wound that would turn into a silver mark once it healed completely. “You’re my everything, Steve. Absolutely everything.”

Steve cried out sharply and wasted no time in biting down against the alpha’s gland, feeling the pleasure burn through him as he felt their bond sync between them. It brought him over that edge and he cried out again, his whole body tightening around Tony’s length.

Tony growled as the bond sealed and he moved with ease, rolling his hips until his knot grew. He kept thrusting until they were locked together, finally drawing back to kiss Steve deeply. “My mate.” he murmured, heart still erratic as he kissed his newly bonded mate. “I love you.”

Steve whined and pleaded for Tony to just take him and mark him already. He needed to feel that connection. He slid one hand through the back of the alpha’s hair, gripping tightly. “Tony… please…” he begged.

The tone and the way Steve fingers felt in his hair made him shiver before he gave in and opened his mouth, teeth digging in until he felt the skin break and tasted blood. A low growl escaped him and his hips stuttered just slightly, pressing as close against Steve as he could. Fire lit in his veins, and he rolled his hips faster, adjusting so that his own bonding gland was exposed.

Steve whined and moaned as Tony began to kiss and lick along the bonding gland. HE tilted his head to one side, his whole body starting to react, tightening around Tony’s length. “Yes… yes I’m sure,” he whimpered softly. “I need you… want you… wanna be bonded to you…”

It took every once of willpower not to bite into that spot, wanting just a little longer but knowing that bonding would make it so much better. Tony nuzzled along the place where the gland was, gently nipping at it as his hips rolled, trying to find that one spot that would override the pain of his breaking the skin. “My mate. Mine.” he breathed heatedly, almost shaking at the thought that Steve wanted him.

Once Tony finally slid fully inside of him, Steve let out a low, needy moan, arching up against him as he did so. “Love you… love you so much… alpha… please… please move…” he begged with a slight hitch to his voice as he bared his throat to the other in a purely submissive gesture meant to ensure Tony knew what he wanted.

Tony buried his face in Steve’s neck, moaning as Steve arched for him. “I got you.” he promised, moving slowly to get Steve used to the feel and almost losing his mind at how hot and perfect it felt to have the omega crave him so desperately. HE pulled back to lick over the place where a bond mark would go, reading the gesture and for a moment, despite it all, he panicked. “Are you sure, baby?” he asked, kissing the spot even as his body moved slowly, taking Steve gently and lovingly.
