“They think you’re a threat because of who your parents are and because of you busting your ass at being the best.” Seth smiled softly. “And yeah, people should think of you as a threat. You could wipe the world without a second thought if you really wanted to do so. But you won’t. You’re too good. And you shouldn’t be sorry, Ana. Never apologize for who you are.”
“The only threat is if someone tries to hurt me. And then it’s not even me they need to worry about.” Ana gave a little grin, remembering the story of how her father’s had been so furious they’d almost ended up on trial in their demands for her and her brother to be allowed to stay in New York. She looked up at him, her glamour fading back into place and she smiled softly. “Thank you, Seth. You’re a good person.”
