Villains in Addams Family movies go to really unnecessary lengths to defraud them of the family fortune. These people just give it away on whims all the time. If I just walked into the house and started wearing their clothes and spending their money, they wold start introducing me as Cousin Intruder and forget there was ever a time I didn’t live with them.
I just watched an episode last night where a couple bank robbers hid out in the house on halloween, and the Addams thought they were trick or treaters. they thought the bag full of money was what neighbors gave them so Gomez gave them a bunch of money too.

“What do you think?” Wade waited in the doorway impatiently for Peter to look up. “Babe, pay attention! I’m trying to decide what to wear for that party tonight!”
“I’m not going to look up.” Peter replied calmly without putting his book down. “Because that is literally the sluttiest Wonder Woman costume I’ve ever seen. I don’t even think strippers would wear that, Wade. Go take it off and put something else on, we are not going out in public like that.”
Wade looked down at himself critically. “I see nothing wrong with this. Also, Her Majesty Diana would object to being called a slut.”
“I’m not calling her a slut.” Peter turned a page and took a sip of his water. “I’m saying you look like a slutty version of a knock off of my favorite super hero and future wife. Go take it off.”
“I think you’re a prude!” Wade announced and turned on his heel, thigh high red and blue boots making the movement quite a bit less graceful. “I would win costume contests like this!”
“You will be arrested like that!” Peter retorted. “Put something else on!”
“She’s not your future wife!” Wade yelled from the bedroom. “She won’t want you after I get done with you!”
Peter rolled his eyes and turned another page in his book.

From @muemmelmonster :: who requested a Priest/Vampire AU. Of course, Spidey is Andrew Garfield, Wade is Ryan Reynolds. This is Middle Ages time era, where religion and the churches were all powerful and people were burned at the stake as heretics.
Warnings for religion-caused homophobia, internalized homophobia, Vampire!Wade being fairly blasphemous towards traditional religion and uh… well our boys get busy in a place where they shouldn’t get busy. If any of these things are going to offend you, skip this fic.

Peter eyed the figure in the second pew uneasily, but tried to go about his usual duties as if he wasn’t bothered by the unblinking gaze and the slight smile that always rested about the mans lips.
It was easier said than done of course, because it was odd enough for anyone to sit and watch the priest throughout the day, but it was odder still for it to be a man who stared so intently.
But to make it all the worse– Peter, or Father Parker as he was known to his parishioners, knew very well that the man that sat so long without moving, wasn’t a man at all.
He was a supernatural creature, something that belonged in the dark, a spirit, a demon, an entity that had fanged teeth and eyes that flickered red– a vampire.
“6 months from now I will be in a different situation.”
Speak it into existence.
