Steve’s mind wasn’t as hazy now as it had been before and he curled into Tony’s warmth, burying his face into his mate’s neck, sighing softly as he did so. “I’m sorry about how everything happened,” he said quietly. “I know we were headed in this direction together at some point, but I know this is sooner than you wanted it to happen. I don’t regret anything… only that we didn’t have the chance to plan everything out like we wanted.”

Tony petted through the omega’s hair, shaking his head. “Hey, it’s okay. You didn’t do anything wrong.” he promised. “We aren’t as prepared as I’d like, but I would never change my mind about being yours.” he said softly, leaning to kiss Steve again. “All that matters is that we got you home before anything happened. I can take care of you and we’ll be fine.” he smiled at Steve, moving carefully so that he could drape an arm over Steve’s side. “I’m right here, Steve. Always yours, and now everyone will know.”

Steve whined and pleaded for Tony to just take him and mark him already. He needed to feel that connection. He slid one hand through the back of the alpha’s hair, gripping tightly. “Tony… please…” he begged.

Steve whined and moaned as Tony began to kiss and lick along the bonding gland. HE tilted his head to one side, his whole body starting to react, tightening around Tony’s length. “Yes… yes I’m sure,” he whimpered softly. “I need you… want you… wanna be bonded to you…”

It took every once of willpower not to bite into that spot, wanting just a little longer but knowing that bonding would make it so much better. Tony nuzzled along the place where the gland was, gently nipping at it as his hips rolled, trying to find that one spot that would override the pain of his breaking the skin. “My mate. Mine.” he breathed heatedly, almost shaking at the thought that Steve wanted him.

Once Tony finally slid fully inside of him, Steve let out a low, needy moan, arching up against him as he did so. “Love you… love you so much… alpha… please… please move…” he begged with a slight hitch to his voice as he bared his throat to the other in a purely submissive gesture meant to ensure Tony knew what he wanted.

STeve whimpered softly. “Tony please… stop holding back… just… gods… take me! I need you… Tony… please….” He was damn near crying, wanting to scream at the desperation that poured through him because of the induced heat. HE knew Tony wanted to be careful but at that moment, careful didn’t matter to him anymore. He needed to feel the alpha buried inside of him and the sooner, the better.

Any modicum of control Tony had left was lost and he leaned in, holding himself up with one hand as the other pressed two fingers inside and scissored. He wanted to prep Steve at least a little before the two of them lost control. He could feel his rut settling into his skin and he groaned, biting gently at Steve’s neck. “Gotta get you ready at least a little, baby. Wouldn’t be able to forgive myself if I hurt you.” he breathed huskily, though his eyes tinted just the slightest fraction as he looked down at him. He was quickly looking focus, but managed to make sure the penthouse was locked down so no one could disturb them. Once Tony finally had him undressed, he groaned softly. He was so slick and wet and his body was so damn hot. He reached for Tony, hands sliding up and down along the alpha’s chest. Steve whimpered softly, returning that kiss and then whining as Tony tugged at his shirt. He shifted so the alpha could get it off of him and then lay back on the bed once more. The heat inducing drugs were making it so damn hard for him to think or even speak coherently anymore but he nodded at Tony, trying to show he understood. He needed more, though. The pain was starting now, as it always did when he was in his first wave of heat. “Tony…” he pleaded, the alpha’s name about all he could manage now.

Tony moved with careful ease to pull the shirt off and leaned in to kiss him softly again, not wanting to leave Steve’s side. “I’m right here,” he promised, hands roaming over Steve’s body to try and ease the pain as best he could. HE pulled his own shirt off and moved to guide Steve’s hands to his chest so Steve could feel his heartbeat. “Look, I’m right here, Steve.” he swore, one hand moving to work on finishing undressing the omega. “I’m gonna take care of you, I promise.
