Steve came in to the penthouse and sighed heavily, rolling his shoulders as he tugged off his jacket and tie and headed for his office. He stepped inside and saw Loki already sitting inside. “You’re awfully early this morning,” he stated, closing the door and dropping into the chair behind his desk, regarding the man intently for a moment. “What went wrong?”
Loki looked up as the door opened, green eyes taking a moment to obvisouly appreciate Steve’s chosen attire. “Nothing went wrong, you should know by now that I don’t often get into a situation that compromises the family, boss. Things went exceptionally smooth, honestly.” he replied, closing his book. “But it’s awful hard to get some alone time unless we’re in here, so I went ahead and came up.” he said with a grin, leaning back as he watched Steve move.
