Chris’ Verses

Chris was abused and raised as a hunter, and he found loyalty in the honesty of the code, refusing to bend the code to justify killing innocent supernaturals.

Biker [ freedom on the open road;; biker Chris ]
After losing his daughter, Chris gave up on hunting, and decided to start being more normal. Still a legal arms dealer, he travels more, mostly by motorcycle, basically retired from hunting unless attacked and enjoying the chance to just be a normal man for a change.

Model [ my own path forged;; model Chris ]
Chris could never get the feel for killing, so when he graduated high school, he left and went to college, deciding to become a model and remove himself from his family. IT’s worked well for twenty years, but it’s only a matter of time before his family name catches up to him, right?

Wolf [ past forsaken;; wolf Chris]
Grief and anger from losing his daughter caused Chris to slip up on a hunt and rather than killing himself when he turned, he let go of his past and moved on, accepting his new life and moving on from his past.

Claudia’s Verses

Main [ bent not broken;; main Claudia ]

Claudia was swapped as a baby and adopted by a hunting family. When she was turned, she ran and found her way to Beacon Hills by some miracle, but not before killing a homeless person and being taken in by the Hales. She survived the fire, and she’s been changed by the loss of finding her family only to lose them.

Author [ novelist novelist;; author Claudia ]

Making money off writing stories has kept Claudia mostly able to avoid people, but every now and again she has to do book signings and tours.That doesn’t mean the little wolf doesn’t take precautions.

Human [ not another victim;; human Claudia ]

Surviving the Hale fire has scarred Claudia deeply, and she uses art as a therapy/coping mechanism. She isn’t easy to get to open up, and she doesn’t trust easily, as the only human left of the Hales, she’s taken up self defense and carries a silver bladed butterfly knife.

Mage [ magic in my blood;; mage Claudia ]

Claudia survived the bite of the rogue alpha that turned her, but she isn’t a wolf. The bite triggered some kind of magic in her and she’s mastered a couple of elemental spells, wind and water. But she’s getting more powerful as time goes on, more protective of her family and sometimes loses control. Can she find something or someone to help give her full control?

Izzy’s Verses

Main [ nothing a shadowhunter can’t do in heels;; main Izzy ]

Isabelle is amazing at her job. Weapons master, enough forensic smarts to make any man look dumb, and the ability to make use of her beauty in a dangerous way. She may the the only Lightwood daughter, but her grace and loyalty to her siblings is second to no other.

Dancer [ dancing queen;; dancer Izzy ]

Izzy is a great dancer, giving lessons as well as posting videos. She loves the club scene because she can blend in and never be noticed, and that’s the most fun of all.

Human [ raven haired beauty;; human Izzy ]

Dark hair and eyes, but forensic studies major at Columbia put ISabelle on a whole other level. She’s sweet and caring, fiercely protective of her brothers and above all else, a fashion guru in her own right.

Jeweler [ it’s a family business;; jeweler Izzy ]

Jewels and metal become so much more with ISabelle Lightwood at the helm. Inheriting the business from her parents, she’s the main face of the company while her siblings work around her [in some threads she will do this alone, however]. She’s got a way with bringing what’s in her head to beautiful life and she isn’t afraid to do it.

Loki’s Verses

Main [ the sun will shine again;; main Loki ]

Loki was willing to sacrifice himself, and yet after the world went dark, the last thing he knew being large purple finhers crushing his throat, he woke on earth. He doesn’t know why or how, or even if anything after the battle with Hela was real, but he’s making due while he hunts for his brother.

Human [ emerald love;; human Loki ]

Loki has always had a love of pranks, but he’s also very book smart. He isn’t above fighting, but he would definitely prefer a nonviolent solution when possible.

Model [ dramatic poses;; model Loki ]

Most people think models are dumb and only want an easy way to make money. Loki dontes more than half of his earnings from photo shoots to orphan charities and still manages to live in a lavishly decorated but by no means large home. He reads between sessions at his shoots, anything he can get his hands on.

Singer [ a song forgotten;; singer Loki ]

Loki has always been a singer at heart. Even when doing small tasks, he sings to himself. He posts little videos on various platforms and ends up with a mini following. When he’s found by an upcoming record label, he soon goes from singing in his apartment office to being in a real recording booth with three times as many fans backing him up.

Bruce’s Verses

Main [ that’s my secret;; main Bruce ]
Bruce thought the key to recreating the famous “Super Soldier Serum” was in gamma rays, but that all changed when an explosion erupted and Bruce became more than human – became another person altogether.

Human [ just a genius;; human Bruce ]
Bruce never got involved with the military despite his genius, deciding to keep up with his genetic work rather than try to recreate the serum.

Professor [ shaping young minds;; professor Bruce ]
Life as genius wasn’t much fun when there was no one to have a normal conversation with. So Bruce took up being a professor to help enrich new minds while still maintaining a sense of normalcy.

Wolf [ call of the moon;; wolf Bruce ]
As a wolf shifter, Bruce was small for his age before the explosion. After the gamma explosion, as a Wolf, Bruce is six feet tall on all four feet and longer than the average school bus.

Clary’s Verses

Main [ from art school to killing demons;; main Clary]
Clary grew up entirely oblivious to what she was capable of. Now she’s doing what she can to learn fast, stay alive, and fight for her friends and loved ones against the worst kinds of evil.

Angel [ more than angel blood;; angel Clary ]
There’s much more to her than angel blood. A pure angel, hiding amongst the shadow world and sending word back to the other angels about the slow process of changing the minds of shadowhunters after so long thinking they were superior to everyone.

Hidden [ the world cannot know what I know;; hidden Clary ]
Clary has been trained as a shadowhunter in secret by Jocelyn, and knows everything about the Circle and everything. So keeps a stele and seraph blade on her at all times just in case, but her main goal is to stay off the radar of the Circle. So when she gets caught fighting a demon and brought to the Institute, Clary has a whole new layer of trouble headed her way.

Human [ the world inverted;; human Clary ]
Clary is an artist in college, daughter to one of the richest men in New York. As heir to the Morgenstern fortune, Clary isn’t necessarily spoiled, but she’s certainly enjoying life with her friends and the best significant other ever.

Elliot’s Verses

Main [ full moon bite;; main Elliot ]

Being turned into a werewolf has not been ideal by any means. Elliot has made quite a bit of trouble in his time since being turned, but he’s finally settled into his supernatural life and owns an art studio where people can come and paint, draw or model for a small fee.

Human [ lonely eyes;; human Elliot ]

Elliot was raised in foster care, but never found a good fit. He aged out and while struggling as a server, he discovered youtube and through it began a channel that talked about a number of fandoms, talking theories and even doing livestreams with his followers to talk about new movies and all kinds of things.

Mob/Mercenary [ blade and bullet bound;; mob Elliot ]

Getting out of the foster system was the goal until Elli was adopted by a very rich family. Being adopted didn’t allow him the title if mob heir, but it did get him good training to be a met and hit man for his family.

Vampire [ never a fan of sunlight;; vampire Elliot ]

Elliot didn’t like the sun as a kid, but he sort of misses it now. Being turned into a vampire by his now ex-wife, Elliot keeps a low profile with selling his art online.

Lydia’s Verses

Main [ I forged my own path;; main Lydia ]

Lydia was in line to take over an Institute; be the first Branwell in many years to be Head of an Institute. But that all changed when her fiance died and she was forced to accept her fate. After the failed wedding, Lydia took a place as a soldier, and once healed, she made the choice on her own to return to New York, finally feeling like she had friends she could be proud of.

Human [ inverted world;; human Lydia ]

Lydia lives a comfortable life with her husband until a tragic accident took her husband and she was left alone with a young son and a life built around her late husband’s law firm. Stepping up, she’s taken a job at the Morgenstern’s tech company to help take care of herself and her son.

Lawyer [ prosecutor Branwell;; lawyer Lydia ]

Lydia Branwell is one one of the most prominent prosecutors in New York. She provides her evidence and has a success rate higher than most anyone the DA’s office. But she’s also aware that her hard work has put her on a pedestal that she can’t really get down from.

Professor [ teach the way;; professor Lydia ]

Lydia hasn’t seen much battlefield action since her injury from Valentine’s demon attack and to pass the time, she’s been tutoring young nephilim in Idris. Pushing to be released back to New York, she’s agreed not to be a field member and simply help teach the younger nephilim in the Institute.

Jace’s Verses

Main [ all the legends are true;; main Jace ]

Jace was raised a soldier, forged through a fire of painful childhood. He fought and trained to be the best, and even when he had that title, he continued to train and fight and refused to be less than his best. Discovering he wasn’t a Wayland was painful, but finding his way to his real family name – Herondale – has eased some of that lonely, insecure boy he hides with sarcasm and hunting prowess.

Combat Instructor [ hand to hand is my specialty;; combat instructor Jace ]

Raised in a military family, Jace didn’t follow the usual footsteps of his family, deciding to put his training to use and took a line in training people with self defense. He isn’t harsh or cruel, but he pushes those he teaches to think on their feet in any situation, and has recently opened his own training studio.

Human [ life without runes;; human Jace ]

Jace has been a blend of things since he was young; singer, sports player, musician. Playing piano, cello and harmonica, Jace is a young man of many talents, but he’s struggled in his life, too.

Lion [ leader of the pride;; lion Jace ]

Being referred to as a lion isn’t far from the truth. Jace is a lion shifter, one of royal family whose genetics allow them to choose their shift. Jace didn’t put much thought into what he wanted, but the idea that people always called him a lion made him want to make the sentiment true. [this is loosely based in the Night World series]

Tony’s Verses

Main [ playboy genius philanthropist;; main Tony ]

Tony has survived all kinds of things; from his ‘uncle’ trying to kill him, to Ultron’s attack and now he’s one of the survivors of Thanos’ attack and he’s struggling with the guilt of so many people dying in front of him, brought back to earth by Thor and hiding away with a bottle of alcohol and his own mind.

Fox [ cunning by nature;; fox Tony ]

Tony is the last known Stark – the last of a very powerful clan of kitsune. Keeping his fox nature under wraps has been hard from time to time, but his love of mechanics is helped by his electricity.

Model [ camera flashes are the norm;; model Tony ]

Tony grew up in the spotlight because of his dad’s business but he wanted a life of his own, out of his father’s shadow. So modeling became his niche, and he carved his own brand over the years and is still the number one sought after model in the continental US.

Vampire [ rare breed of immortal;; vampire Tony ]

Tony has lived for centuries, an immortal with an ability that makes him as feared as it does make him a target. He’s been gifted with his fire from the start, and he’s not afraid to use it when he needs to.
