Clint’s Verses

Main [ I see better from a distance;; main Clint ]

Clint lost 80% of his hearing after being too close to an explosion. He’s learned how to read lips and sign, but for the most part he doesn’t sign unless absolutely necessary. He doesn’t tell people about his disability, and he uses a small hearing aid when he’s at major functions, but he’s generally used to the quiet most of the time. He’s recovering from Civil War while trying to find a new kind of life for him.

Angel [ wings aren’t just in the name;; angel Clint ]

Clint’s been an angel for centuries, sent to live out life every so often while still protecting people and doing what’s right. Wings of a silvery white cascade down his back in silky layers, the full width amazing and strong. His SHIELD codename gives him a unique sense of humor, because not many people know just how close to accurate the term is. But there are more to his wings than the name.

Cybernetic Enhancement [ still not used to normal;; cyberbetically enhanced Clint ]

This verse is the same as the first, only Clint has been given an enhancement from Tony that allows him 100% use of his hearing again.

IMF [ neither deny nor confirm without the secretary’s permission;; IMF Clint ]

Clint gave up his identity as Clint Barton for the identity of William Brandt and joined a sanctioned group of elite spies knows as the IMF – and he’s the liason as much as an active member.

Wolf [ howling moonfall;; wolf Clint ]

After a mission gone wrong in Russia, Clint was bitten and what started as an infection cleared and for a while Clint thought he was fine. Until he turned into a large wolf so black he was almost purple. In the years since, he has learned his control and has assigned weekends during the full moons to keep everyone safe. His skills as a wolf only make him deadlier in combat and a much fiercer protector of his friends.

Ana’s Verses

Main [ book of the white nephilim;; main Ana ]

When Alec went under to save Jace, Magnus used a risky last resort to bring him back. The spell didn’t just bring Alec back, but Anabel and her twin brother Tarael were created as well. Ana has an affiliation with electricity and can handle runes on her skin. Her left eye is a silver cat eye that he glamours.

Child [ hybrid baby;; child Ana ]

As a kid, Ana has a love of piano, food, and watching her family train. She’s never far without her favorite toy penguin.

Human [ no angel gifts;; human Ana ]

Without any kind of angel blood, Ana focuses on helping her fathers out and learning hand to hand with her aunts and uncles, never one to back down.

Warlock vs. Nephilim [ warlock twin reversal;; warlock Ana ]

A role reversal between Ana and her twin brother, Tara. Ana has the magical tendencies of a warlock instead of her brother.

Tara’s Verses

Main [ book of the white born warlock;; main Tara ]

Tara as a child is quiet and hidden in books about magic. He doesn’t like 98% of vegetables and he can’t sleep without his stuffed bunny.

Human [ not a drop of magic in you boy;; human Tara ]

Tara with no magic is the same Tara he would be with magic. Only now he puts emphasis on being able to defend himself. He’s loyal to his family and isn’t trusting of strangers by any means.

Nephilim vs. Warlock [ angel twin reversal;; nephilim Tara ]

A role reversal between Tara and Ana, where Tara is the twin with the ability to handle runes and has an affilitaion with electric currents.

Derek’s Verses

Main [ I was evolving;; main Derek ]

Blue eyes, black fur, same man. Derek’s evolution hasn’t changed much of anything about him. He’s still a little unsure sometimes, but he’s been on his own long enough to know he’ll survive.

Alpha [ the bite is a gift;; alpha Derek ]

Derek accidentally killed an alpha defending himself and now he’s back in power in a way he isn’t sure he’s ready for.

Human [ innocence stolen;; human Derek ]

Derek is one of the few survivors of his family’s murders, the only human Hale left alive. With all his trauma, Derek isn’t the most trusting, and anyone who says his name could be a potential threat if anyone finds out he’s alive – even after all these years.

Model [ cat walk wolf;; model Derek ]

Derek took to the life of a model after a chance encounter got him his first photoshoot. Being a model allowed him privacy since most everyone followed singers and actors, and it kept him fed and with a decent security system. He’s still well known, just not in the spotlight.

Luke’s Verses

Main [ new york alpha;; main Luke ]

Luke left Idris and made it a point to become an alpha so he could keep watch over Jocelyn and baby Clary, but when things got crazy, Luke did what he needed to to keep Clary from getting hurt. Now leading a pack much smaller than before Valentine’s death, Luke tries to be a liason between the nephilim and the wolves, having walked both sides of the blade.

Bookstore Owner [ my new calling;; bookstore owner Luke ]

Once a werewolf, and with Valentine believed dead, Luke changed his name and hid from everyone, running a small bookshop.

Human [ never knew angels;; human Luke ]

He wasn’t a nephilim, but he believed. A mythology professor, Luke has no idea has angel blood and goes about his life with the belief in the supernatural, but no idea how real it is.

Nephilim [ always angel blooded;; nephilim Luke ]

Luke has always been one of the most loyal soldiers to the Clave. His fall from grace while in the Circle caused a lot of problems, and even in the aftermath, he struggles. No longer allowed to be out in the field because of his connections, he works as a researcher and historian in New York.

Cassie’s Verses

Main [ former agent Rogers;; main Cassie ]

Once upon a time, she was a technical analyst for SHIELD, offering backup and system debugging while staying out of the spotlight. Sent to help the Avengers, Cassie found a family she didn’t know she had – even finding out her real father was Steve Rogers. Now technically a child of the team, Cassie spends time running calibrations and mastering various kinds of close quarter combat

Child [ before I grow up;; child Cassie ]

Little Cassie Rogers is a handful of mischief and giggles, loving and open and very much not afraid to stand up to people. So much like her father and every bit as hopeful as the mind of a child caught in the strange world of SHIELD and the Avengers.

College [ smart for my age;; college Cassie ]

Life as a college kid whose family is the Avengers could be worse. It certainly isn’t easy when the team goes off on missions, but she manages with little art projects and tinkering in her room at the compound.

Undercover [ hidden agent;; undercover Cassie ]

Cassie went into hiding after the events of Civil War, and she’s been helping T’Challa in the assembly to reverse the accords while keeping herself undercover as Sarah Connor [a joke to keep herself going].

Allison’s Verses

Main [ raven wings;; main Allison ]

Allison didn’t quite die at the blade of an Oni. No, she was healing even as she fell into unconsciousness, the workings of her opening the door in her mind as Stiles had, but letting in an entirely different kind of trickster; a raven. Now with the added power of a raven, Allison works to follow her family’s code while trying to stay hidden.

Human [ we’re going to have a new code;; human Allison ]

Human but valiant and ever noble. Allison was brought back by a spell and even as she works to keep herself hidden and watch over her friends, she knows it won’t be long until she’s discovered. It’s a conversation she isn’t sure she’s ready for.

Painter [ more than an archer;; painter Allison ]

Allison never found out about the supernatural, she never knew the pack, she lost her mother in a terrible car wreck, not a suicide. She’s in her last year at Coumbia and works as a street vendor, painting everything from people to pets to oceans and fields to make extra money while she lives in a small apartment in Brooklyn.

Wolf [ yellow eyes and fangs;; wolf Allison ]

As a last minute effort to save her life, Scott gave Allison the bite and it turned her, but she didn’t adhere to any pack, staying instead at her father’s side and acting as if she wasn’t a wolf at all. Once graduation was over, she chose to go to online university to help travel with her father.

Stiles’ Verses

Main [ traumatic fire;; main Stiles ]

After the possession by the nogitsune, Stioes began noticing little changes. Turns out the spark Stiles has been told about – that Deaton said he was – is true in more ways than one. Because Stiles is magical in his own right; able to wield fire and heat.

Fox [ wild at heart;; Kitsune Stiles ]

Stiles’ abilities were dormant until the nogistune. His ability to remain conscious enough to help the pack make their divine move in order to exorcise the void was in part due to his own Kitsune abilities trying to fight off the darkness. As a wild Kitsune, Stiles is learning his abilities to heal and manipulate air currents in offense and defense.

Human [ some of us are human;; human Stiles ]

Stiles is just a human in the midst of the supernatural and he survives by sheer smarts and instinct 98% of the time. The other 2%? Dumb luck.

Nephilim [ son of forgotten blood;; shadowhunter Stiles ]

Stiles’ mother was a shadowhunter. But when her sister joined the Circle, Claudia fled and hid among the humans, faith in the angelic blooded warriors broken. She raised Stiles with knowledge but kept it vague and brushed them off as fairy tales and myths. Stiles came to face to face with his true world after Scott was turned, but he’s kept it under wraps and lied about what he can do out of fear it would change everything about his relationship with the pack.

Wolf [ moon bright eyes;; wolf Stiles ]

Stiles was turned by Scott to cancel out the cancer and Stiles took to the life with an eerie ease, as if those glowing eyes and enhanced senses had been meant for him. (This verse can be played with Stiles having the blue eyes because of the guilt from the nogitsune).

Bucky’s Verses

Main [ not sure I’m worth all this;; main Bucky ]

Bucky went into war because he wanted to serve, and stayed there when Steve joined the ranks. After his fall and subsequent torture and branwashign from HYDRA, even in the deepest part of his mind, Bucky saw the worst of humanity, and now, resurfaced, mind free of HYDRA’s switch, he doesn’t flinch when it comes time to make a choice between his comrades or letting the bad guys kill more. He can’t go back to hoping everyone will listen given the chance, not after everything he’s seen and been forced to do.

Jaguar [ fierce eyes and fiercer claws;; jaguar Bucky ]

Bucky was always dangerous in the sense of his charm and smile. But when he hit puberty and he was able to shift into an elegant and rare white jaguar, his damger became much more. His movements more fluid and his charm much more engaging, the feline is dangerous when tested.

Winter Soldier [ ready to comply;; Winter Bucky ]

Cold, calculating and mostly a living weapon, Winter doesn’t understand deep emotions, but he can be made to reason since he isn’t continuosly truend into a blank slate by electroshock.

Vampire [ survived in darkness;; vampire Bucky ]

HYDRA didn’t just turn Bucky into a mindless weapon, they turned him immortal, putting him on ice between missions to increase his bloodlust. Serum tests were run until he could withstand sunlight like a normal person and making him even more deadly. Now recovering from the mind control, Bucky struggles to keep himself hidden, feeding only from willing people and never enough to kill.

Steve’s Verses

Main [ just a kid from Brooklyn;; main Steve ]

~~[This verse will typically be posted at the end of Black Panther unless otherwise stated]~~Steve just wanted to help his country, wanted to fight the bullies. But he never got that chance until a lucky entrance at the Stark Expo. He got his chance, and the serum made him stronger, healthier, taller and faster. HE followed his morals all through life, putting a plane in the ice both in grief and to protect others, but he didn’t die, slipping into a coma for seventy years. Once pulled from the ice, he did the only thing he could do, and now facing the aftermath of the Avengers Civil War, Steve is hiding off the radar while still keeping in touch with Bucky and the others to make sure they’re all safe.

Lion [ golden maned;; lion Steve ]

In a world where shifter genes are triggered typically at puberty, Steve was disappointed when he didn’t shift as his parents had or even as his best friend Bucky had. But the only thing holding him back was his long list of ailments. After the serum, the shifter gene woke up and Steve discovered he was in fact a lion shifter as his mother had been. He taught himself control and he tries not to shift when he’s upset.

Professor [ first hand knowledge;; professor Steve ]

Once out of the ice, Steve didn’t want to fight anymore, and his knowledge of history earned him a quick role as a professor teaching American history. He’s a favorite of the student body, especially when he discusses WWII. Under the name Professor Grant, he has one of the highest passing rates of the university

Vampire [ colder than ice;; vampire Steve ]

Someone altered the formula used on Steve to include vampire venom and with the serum’s compound, there need be no death to turn Steve, but he didn’t take on all the traits as theorized by the HYDRA agent who altered it. He could still handle sunlight, but he had to adjust to the much louder noises, and he didn’t need to survive solely on blood. Steve’s kept his condition since under wraps, only taking blood from donors when necessary and using a fake name to keep his identity safe. When pulled from the ice he was given blood transfusions and then allowed rest, but it didn’t alter the need to have blood from time to time.
