Derek nodded slowly. “All right,” he answered, moving to help Peter with the bed and then wrapping his arms around him from behind, resting his chin on the other’s shoulder. “We have to be strong for Stiles, which means, we can not go back home and try to take out anything on Scott. The less we have to deal with him, the better. The others need to know that he can not come on the property, the house, anything. Nowhere near Stiles at all.”

Peter chuckled. “As much as I know it would make me feel better to find him and clock him just once, Scott will get what’s coming to him in time. Right now, my only concern is that one of my mates is hurting because another alpha is an idiot.” He tilted his head to kiss Derek’s cheek. “My first priority will always be you and Stiles, everyone else be damned.” he promised. He turned in Derek’s arms to kiss him properly, arms encircling the other wolf. “We’ll keep him safe, Der. Nothing can keep us apart anymore.”

Derek nodded slowly. “And what are we going to do if that good college is out of state, Peter? I don’t want him going into an area with another pack on his own, but we have the pack here to take care of as well.”

Peter sighed, nodding. “Believe me, I know. I’ve thought about that. And given our bond is still fairly new, he may need us. Moving the pack is one option, I know a few firms that would take me if I called them and wanted to get back o cases. But you know he’s likely to argue he’ll be fine.” He moved to make the bed and change, body less tense. “Right now, let’s focus on getting him to graduation.”

Stiles nodded slowly. “Right now, I just want a shower and then I want to go back to bed and get some sleep… probably be able to do so now that you’re both here.” He took the shirt Peter handed to him and grabbed a clean pair of sweat pants and then headed into the bathroom.

Derek watched him go and then turned to look at Peter. “You think he’s going to be okay going back to that school?” he asked quietly. “He’s smart, Peter. We could home school him. There’s traditional things like that as well as online schools. I don’t want to risk him running off like this again.”

Peter watched his younger mate go to the bathroom to shower before moving to sit down next to Derek. “I doubt he’d be able to. If it caused him to run once, we know he’ll come back over and over. He’s too smart for Scott and his stupidity to ruin his chances at a damn good college.” He reached to run his fingers through Derek’s hair. “Home school may be better, but let’s talk to Stiles first, okay?”

Steve glanced at the out stretched hand but then pushed up to his feet on his own, despite being a bit shaky and unstable. “Fine. I”ll give you a week,” he said quietly. He knew his heat would hit, though, sooner than that if he stayed around an alpha for too long. His old pack alpha had refused to give him suppressants or any kind of birth control but Steven had never carried which had pissed off his former alpha. He glanced at Peter, could feel the power rolling off the alpha and it scared him just a bit, but he followed a few steps behind him.

The older wolf was calm as he led the way to his car. He walked to the trunk and popped it, pulling out a large duffel bag and setting it on top of the trunk when it closed. “They gave me what they claimed to be your personal effects, but would you mind verifying if anything is missing or not yours?” He asked. “There’s also a doctor on the way home if you’d like to get checked out or get any kind of medicine. I know sometimes a new environment and pack can trigger heats and I won’t make you uncomfortable if I can avoid it.”

Stiles nodded and managed to eat a little more of the food, leaving about a fourth of it behind as he set the plate aside and proceeded to crawl out of bed, rummaging through his bag for clean clothing. When he found pajama pants, he glanced up at the other two wolves. “Did either of you bring an extra shirt I could have?” he asked in a small, quiet voice.

Peter and Derek looked at each and chuckled at the question. “We did.” Peter answered and got up to grab the bag they had packed, bringing it to the room and setting it down. “Do you want to shower? We brought towels, too.” he offered.

Derek walked over and pressed a kiss to Stiles’ head. “It’s just the three of us, so tell us what you want to do and we’ll follow your lead, okay?” he asked, smiling reassuringly. “You know we’ll take care of you.”

His fingers traced every inch of Peter they could reach, desperate to familiarise themselves with the man he’d been craving for months. It never took Tristan this long to get what he wanted, but that had only made him want this all the more. “Mm.” He groaned against Peter’s lips, smirk on his own as he looked up at him. “I think I’m ready. Depends on just ‘ow good you are tonight, doesn’t it?” Teasing as always, words laced with sarcasm. He laughed at the compliment, flushing under his makeup, hand coming to move over the bruises Peter was leaving on him. Always one to want to please, he did as he was told and raked his nails against the man’s flesh again, harder this time, and his body shivered as Peter finally touched him. “Fuck. I never want to feel anythin’ else ever again.”

Peter gave a little smirk, the look predatory as he took in Tristan’s form. He teased his fingers around the other man, humming softly. “I bet you make the prettiest sounds.” he practically purred, eyes shimmering between their natural blue and the searing red of his wolf. “Be a dear and make them for me while I ravage you?” he inquired, nuzzling at the dip of Tristan’s hip as he finally wrapped his hand securely along the hard length, stroking it slowly.

Steve sighed softly and rested a hand on Peter’s leg. “Peter, please. There’s no need for you to be getting upset at Stiles. He has a point. The pack, not including the extended, non-shapeshifters, only lost Theo. Stiles has a point. It’s strange that Thanos’ power didn’t extend throughout the pack even more.” He glanced back at Stiles and Derek.

“Thank you for letting me know about Clint. Next time you talk to him, ask him and the kids to come out here. I want them closer. Whenever Tony and Bruce figure out what we can do to fix things, I want to make sure Clint’s here and ready to go and that the kids are taken care of while we’re gone.”

Peter calmed visibly as Steve touched him, leaning to press his face into his mate’s neck. “I’m sorry.” He murmured softly. “Emotions are just high.” He relaxed into Steve, the most vulnerable he’d been since Steve had come home alone.

Stiles looked at Derek, then back at where Steve and Peter were. “I will. He calls at least once a day to check up on you.” He replied. “I don’t think he’ll have any problems coming here. Derek and I can set up the spare rooms.” He watched the two for a moment. “Is there anything else we can do?”

“Interesting,” Emma chuckled as she heard his story. “Bondsperson. But that was a long time ago. I’m the sheriff now,” she replied with a smile. It’d been a long time since she’d had to track someone down because they’d broken parole or something of the sort. Now it was her duty to make sure people didn’t break the law in the first place. “I did. He was still in Storybrooke. A little terrified that I’d disappeared, but it’s nothing we haven’t been through before.”

Peter shrugged. “My past isn’t clean. I don’t try to hide that fact. All I can do is moove on from it and be a better man.” he replied. The wolf sipped his tea and arched a brow. “People randomly vanish in your town often, I presume?” he asked with a faint smile. “OR is it just you that seems to disappear?”

Peter gave a confused look. “A gift? No, you’re no such thing. Not in this pack.” he replied. “Alphas are not superior to Omegas in the Hale pack. Anyone who told you otherwise is a fool and an idiot.” he replied. “When I asked to speak with anyone who felt like they didn’t belong, I wasn’t expecting to have you almost literally thrown at us.”

“They didn’t like that I kept questioning everything,” Steve answered quietly. “Guess they figured this was their opportunity to get rid of me. If you don’t want me either, I’m more than happy to go somewhere else or even live somewhere on my own.”

The alpha tilted his head. “Questions deserve answers, not pawning the inquirer off.” Peter replied. “My pack is…unconventional, you could say. The pack’s advisor and emissary is an Omega. Very powerful in his own right. Mated to my second in command, as a matter of fact.” He explained. “In recent days I’ve heard my land referred to as the land of strays, but I stand by the decision I made when I changed my pack’s traditions.” He explained, watching the blonde and holding out his hand. “Come with me and see? We do well on our own, every now and then I’ll travel, try to help more people. The Hales have a generous amount of land. If you don’t like it after a week, you’re free to leave, I assure you.”
