Juniper

She wasn’t expecting the invitation, or even his attention for that matter. Her heart picks up the pace as he mentions his room, knowing exactly what goes on behind closed doors. “Lead the way, sir.” she nods intently.

She allows Loki to lead the way to his room, making it seem as inconspicuous to any by-passers they may encounter. As he walks, she watches his confident stride, the way his shoulders sway, hands relaxed at his side. Loki is in his element. She feels small in comparison to him, his power exuding.

Freedom and Loki weren’t often words used in the same sentence, let alone the same breath. But freedom looked good on him, and Loki knew it. He knew most people could sense his power, but he never truly gave an honest answer about just how powerful he was. Finally having freedom, the ability to do as he wished as long as he didn’t cause any trouble for earth, put the god at ease for the first time in years. “You’re an innocent little thing, aren’t you?” he asked, pausing as he reached the door to his chambers. Head tilting so that a few black strands fell into his face, he held out his hand for her to take.

Quick Update

So things are slowly looking up. Stress level is nowhere near as high as it has been now that I’m getting ready to start my second job. But to check off a few things that have been working out.

  • I got my bank issue fixed and closed my account so I never have to worry about it going negative again.
  • Mom passed her driving test, on the first try, so now I don’t have to drive her everywhere when she needs to do stuff.
  • Cane’s is working around my other job’s schedule without any problems or complaints at all.
  • My other job is paying me $12/hr starting out, which will help so much once I start getting money coming in from both jobs.
  • My about pages are all set up, even if they aren’t all finished.
  • I got to go see Godsmack and Like a Storm for the first time and Shinedown for the second because of my roommate. (I need to buy something from them to mark my going since I couldn’t afford a badass t-shirt).

A lot has been looking up and I just need it to keep going that way to get me out of this weird emotional funk I’m in. Right now I’m foregoing eating much to catch up on bills, though, so if anyone can donate some money, even if it’s just like five dollars or so, it will be greatly appreciated. My paypal is snarkwolf@yahoo.com. I’ll totally write things for people who send stuff, just ask my buddy @ofdemonicmagic and my bae @beautifulxdangerous [I haven’t posted those yet, but I really should. Lol].

Work in three hours, so I’m gonna do a little bit of everything [choosing lyrics for about pages and a few replies/starters to post or queue]. I’ll be back around 11:30cst, but I need to go right to bed cuz I have an early day tomorrow with orientation. ❤

For all the support I’ve gotten from my followers and friends – not just in the messages to stay positive but to those who have donated to help me out – I have a surprise for everyone who has helped me, even if they don’t realize it.

Never Letting Go | inkfated

Jace [continued from ask]

“Then don’t,” Jace murmured back as he reached out a hand to tuck a piece of her long red hair behind an ear. “Stay the night with me?” He asked, hoping that she would. He knew that she might not, that she might worry about what others would think if she walked out of his room in the morning. He didn’t care what others thought. Isabelle and Alec already approved. He knew that his siblings had been rooting for them for awhile now. It had surprisingly been Alec who had been telling him to get a move on with Clary and now that was precisely what he did.

“If anyone has anything to say, they can take it up with me. There’s nothing wrong with us being together. Not anymore.” They had already been apart long enough. He had worried that he would never get Clary back, but now that he had her, he had no intentions of letting her go anytime soon.

“You want me to?” Clary asked as she leaned into his touch, smiling. While she’d never given up on saving him, she had been scared, too. Losing Jace wasn’t something she could handle, and she knew it. She moved closer, one hand raising to rest at the back of his neck. Green eyes watched his for a long moment before she leaned in to kiss him. “There was never anything wrong with it. Believing Valentine was the only thing that made us being together wrong, Jace.” she replied, angry that her own father had been so angry at her loving Jace that he’d liked to keep them apart. It was a betrayal she would never forgive the man for, even in his death. She tucked herself closer, resting her head on his shoulder and hiding her face in his neck. If it were possible, she never wanted to leave the warmth of Jace’s arms again, and her hold on him tightened.

“I don’t regret loving you. I never will.” she promised, squeezing him just a little bit more before releasing her hold some. “Let’s go to bed. I can steal one of your shirts.” She pulled away enough to look at him and smile, one hand carding through blonde hair. “I’ll spend every night with you if you’ll let.”
